Welcome... Spring!!

We are definitely feeling like Spring has come! We've enjoyed some very nice, warm temperatures lately and playing outside....

Here is my pretty new Welcome mat I bought for the front door!

Daddy made taking down the Christmas lights into a game... he would throw the plastic hooks off the roof one at a time and the girls would chase after them and put them back in the box. That was helpful.. and apparently fun -- Chloe said it "felt like a parade!" haha. I guess she's comparing it to when you sit on the curb and the people in the parade throw candy at you?? :)

I asked Maya to say cheese and she struck this cute pose :) p.s. This is day #4 of her wearing a dress - even outside to play... she refuses to wear pants lately! It's a good day when I can convince her to wear a different dress than the day before. haha. Sunday, Monday & Tuesday she wore the SAME one.. and this picture was taken on Wednesday, when she agreed to wear a new one. By the way, I did find time to wash the 3-day-in-a-row dress ONCE while Maya was sleeping, so it wasn't TOO dirty those 3 days. :)

Apparently something about wearing a dress makes Maya pose like this every time I go to take her picture! haha. Ohh, the joy of a 3 year old....

And this would be our backyard... which Chris has roped off with stakes, in order to show me where another bedroom, bathroom & closet would go, should we build an addition. Right now we have 1 VERY small bathroom and 3 small bedrooms... and we've always talked about either moving into a bigger house or adding on... And now it seems we may be going the "adding on" route since we truly love where we live and it's a good neighborhood and good school district. :) The plan would probably be to knock out the wall in between our current room and Chloe's room (hers is the double window, and ours is to the right of it) making it one LARGE bedroom that both girls could share. And then we'd have an extra bedroom to use as whatever, maybe a play room or .. haha .. a baby's room, should we ever become crazy enough to try for that little boy Chris would love to have. ( And I laugh again :)
