Well, Christmas party # 1 is now over.... We have been cleaning and cooking the past 24 hours and the party is now done... We had all of the guys over who work for Chris, along with their wives of course, for a company Christmas dinner.... It was a nice evening.. however we didn't have a babysitter for the girls, so they enjoyed the party too.... Meaning, I bet those who came didn't realize that tonight our party would include singing along to our "Abc's and 123's" cd on the karoake machine. :) Ohh, goodness...yes... but it was still a good time... lots of good food and nice to hang out with some good Christian people.
So we went and got our Christmas tree last weekend with Chris' family like we usually do, but this year Joe & Merin came along too.. (Chris' brother and his wife) and they've never gotten a real tree before. . so that was tons of fun... and we went to a new farm (we usually drive up to MI real far and get $20 trees)... but this time we went to a real farm, with much more than trees... there were chickens running around and ducks wadling all over the place.. and we saw a cow, a baby calf and even a reindeer! And even though it was chilly & only 30 some degrees that day, we still had lots of fun! Here are some pic's....
