Such a week....

I have no time be posting, but I have to ask for your prayers. It's been such a long week. . .

Just this past Tuesday, my cousin who is 23 years old was sentenced to 6 years in jail. That has been very rough on my Aunt, and my Grandma, too. We know God's will is being done and that he will get the help he needs while in jail, but it's still very hard.

And this week my Grandma (my Mom's mom in MI) has also been in the hospital for edema and she was not doing good at all. Now, thankfully, she seems to be doing better & is at home, where a visiting nurse is checking on her each day & making sure she's taking the right meds at the right time each day, which they think may have caused the edema.

And my biggest prayer request - my wonderful, pregnant sister Missy. She is 23 weeks along and last night she woke up with bleeding. Aaron took her to the ER and they admitted her and did some tests & ultrasounds and determined she does indeed have placenta previa. They kept her overnight and today, Sunday, they did more tests and she saw some specialist Dr's and well, she has a blood clot, too. Long story short, they reallly want her to be in the hospital on bedrest for a few weeks, and as long as no more bleeding occurs and the blood clot dissolves, then they hope to send her home, to be on bedrest there. I was able to visit her today, but she was NOT doing good at all, because of having some awful side effects from some drugs they gave her to stop mild contractions she was having. On Thursday, she will be 24 weeks along, which is a magical number I guess because then they can give her some shots or meds of some sort which will help the baby's lungs develop, so if she were to have to deliver him early, he would have a better chance of surviving.

So, we have lots of people and situations to pray for right now.. please join me in lifting these people to Jesus! Thank you!
