Monday

Well, I didn't end up getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Yesterday Chloe started to get a rash but it was pretty mild and she was acting normal, so we didn't worry too much about it. This morning, though, she woke up and it covered her entire body - even her face and the palms of her hands. There were just little red dots everywhere. And on top of that, Maya was up almost every 2 hours or so all night because she had a fever & runny nose. This morning she was in awful shape - crying like crazy & needing tylenol every 4 hours. So I cancelled my appt. and took the girls to the doctor. Maya didn't have an ear infection or anything, just fighting a cold, so she doesn't have medicine - we just keep giving her tylenol to try & keep it from getting worse. And Chloe has a viral thing which causes a rash once the cold part (cough, runny nose, etc.) has ended. It is not contagious and doesn't harm her, or make her itch... It just looks completely awful and people will think she has the measles or something probably! It should disappear completely within a week. So it's been a rough day with Maya needing to be held constantly - my whole body was SO sore by this evening from holding her all day. I keep forgetting to share, but she is now weighing 16.2 lbs.!! She is such a chunk! hehe. Even other patients in the waiting area today were saying she doesn't look like just 4 months! She's so big... so unlike Chloe! It's hard to believe there's just a 5 lb. difference between the 2 of them.

Well, it's been a challenging & exhausting day so I'm off to bed now! PLEASE keep praying for us and that at some point life will get a little easier!
