We went to the Zoo yesterday! It started off as a really rough morning - Chloe was in a terrible mood and was whining & complaining and crying like crazy - I couldn't do anything right - from picking out the wrong vitamin for her, to pouring her cereal the wrong way, and giving her the wrong amount of milk in it (yeah, tell me about it!!) - so it wasn't really an ideal day to try a big trip somewhere... haha... but after realizing just how perfect the weather was, I thought we should try & do it anyway... and then I thought of calling my Mom to see if she'd want to go with us, which would make it a lot less stressful. So she dropped what she was doing and drove up so we could go on our adventure. :) The Zoo was incredibly busy since it's free for residents of our county on Monday mornings... which also means the visitor population was mainly poor people with a thousand kids each - not exactly a fun crowd - but oh well! The girls had tons of fun. When Chloe was Maya's age, she didn't even enjoy it as much as Maya did yesterday! When Maya would spot an animal she would excitedly start to point and make a noise and then want to get out of the wagon to see closer. It was cute. Here are some pictures!

Most of the animals were very 'photogenic' yesterday and this hippo swam by the glass right in front of us over & over! How fun! Chloe wasn't even scared...
