What a cute sister-moment!
Well, here's the 'story' to go with the pictures below! We went to a lovely italian restaurant on the river last night... Chris had made us reservations and we had never been to any of the restaurants downtown on the river before - but it was absolutely gorgeous & so much fun! We even did the valet parking deal since the parking lot was SO packed & we didn't feel like walking miles! We both dressed up nice (it felt like we were dating again!) and the restaurant inside was SO pretty - it was like nothing I'd ever seen before and we had a nice view of the river, especially while the sun set! We ordered tons of food - and it was all delicious and it was just a memorable evening! I'm so glad we ended up going there and I can't wait to go eat at some of the other restaurants sometime, when we feel like splurging again since it's all quite expensive! And next time we're going to park on the opposite side of the river and take a 'river taxi' across to the restaurant's dock! That sounds like it'd be even more fun! So, that was our night in a nutshell - (wow, I actually wrote a 'short' story!)
Today (Saturday) was a good day -- we enjoyed good family time running a few errands all of us in the morning and then working on some landscaping projects after nap time - planting fall flowers and things for the Spring.. It was a beautiful day today and Maya also experienced her 1st ride ever in the wagon!! It's a good thing the wagon has straps to go acrossed their waist, or she would've tipped over! We still went pretty slow, though... and it was fun... we didn't go far - but far enough to take a few cute pictures as you saw above!
So it's been a good weekend so far... I hope you have enjoyed the nice weather as well! It's time for bed now...
