Happy New Year

It's Monday and I'm having a hard time typing this because lovely little Maya was on mylap yesterday and happily eating fruit puffs andthen grabbedat the keyboard outta' nowhere and ripped the space barright off!! hence, someof my words do nothave spaces betweenthem because itdoesn't want to workproperly half the time... UGH. chris is not happy about that. and I amsorry you have to read itthis way! difficult,isn't it?

anyhow - long story short - chris met with our family doc thismorning and she is having all his test results sent to a different surgeon/specialist who chris then has to call & set up an appt.with. This wouldbe our 'second opinion' we are now going to get. until then, he has been told to stick to the diet as good as he can. and we've learned from experience that he should stay away from red meats as well, since his body doesn't seem to digest it too great. so, the saga continues!

tonight for new years eve, we are traveling up to MI to Chris' uncle's house - it's about 45 mins. away or so - not too excited about it - cuz his house is not that big for entertaining a HUGE group of people - and it's a long trip with both girls. they will likely sleep on theway home, but theway there is a different story. chris thinks we're staying at this 'party' to the end and that the kids will sleep in one of the bedrooms there - but he's not thinking clearly, I don't think. :) there's no way we'll make it till midnight! the new year celebration is not a big deal to me - I am fine to be asleep in my own bed at the big hour.
